1 Before investing in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF), always read the fund's prospectus. It contains important information about the fund's objectives, risks, and fees. You can get a prospectus from the fund company's website or by emailing our customer service at [email protected].
2 Options involve substantial risk of loss and the possibility an investor may lose the entire amount invested. Before starting options trading, investors should be familiar with the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options. Tax implications with options should be considered. Consult your tax advisor to understand any impacts to your taxes.
3 Investing in an Initial Public Offering (IPO) involves substantial risk, including the risk of losing principal. Key risks include, but are not limited to, unproven management, significant company debt, and lack of operating history. For a comprehensive discussion of these risks, please refer to SoFi Securities' IPO Risk Disclosure Statement. This is not a recommendation and does not constitute an offer of any securities for sale. Investors must carefully read the offering prospectus to determine if an offering is consistent with their objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation. New offerings often have high demand and limited shares. Many investors may receive no shares, and any allocations may be significantly smaller than the shares requested in their initial offer (Indication of Interest). For more information on the allocation process, please visit IPO Allocation.
4 Before investing, carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses detailed in a Fund’s prospectus. This document contains important information and must be read carefully prior to investing; you can find the current prospectus by clicking the link on the Fund’s respective page.
Alternative investments are highly risky and may not be suitable for all investors. These investments often involve leveraging, speculative practices, and the potential for complete loss of investment. They typically charge high fees, lack diversification, and can be highly illiquid and volatile. Be aware that both registered and unregistered alternative investments, including Interval Funds, are not subject to the same regulatory requirements as mutual funds, and their illiquid nature may restrict your ability to trade on your timeline. Always review the specific fee schedule for Interval Funds within their prospectus.
5 Access to private companies and certain funds is restricted to Accredited Investors. To qualify, an investor must meet specific financial criteria: a net worth over $1 million (excluding their primary residence), or an annual income over $200,000 ($300,000 when combined with a spouse or partner) for the prior two years, with the expectation of earning the same in the current year. Alternatively, meeting professional criteria can include being an investment professional in good standing with a Series 7, 65, or 82 license. Templum Markets, LLC will qualify all Accredited Investors prior to accepting an offer. Detailed information on these requirements is available in the private offering memoranda or prospectus provided by Templum.
SoFi Securities, LLC ("SoFi Invest") has a referral arrangement with Templum Markets LLC ("Templum") allowing eligible SoFi Invest members to access specific special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and private investment funds. Templum charges a purchase fee of up to 6% for SPVs and up to 3.5% for funds. Templum compensates SoFi Invest with 20%-50% of the fees charged to referred members, which creates a conflict of interest and an incentive for SoFi Invest to refer members to Templum. SoFi Invest is not affiliated with Templum and does not endorse its products.Alternative investments may not be suitable for all investors and carry unique, substantial risks, including: Lack of Liquidity (investments are often illiquid until a potential acquisition or IPO), Risk of Loss (often involving high-risk assets like startups, which can result in a total loss of capital), Limited Information (making valuation challenging), and Managerial Risks (performance depends heavily on the fund managers' skills and decisions). Investors should carefully review the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses in the private offering memoranda or prospectus provided by Templum. This disclosure is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to endorse any specific strategy.
6 Trading securities on margin loans involves high risk and costs and is not suitable for all investors. It is possible to lose more than your initial investment when using margin. Please see more details at https://www.sofi.com/wealth/assets/documents/brokerage-margin-disclosure-statement.pdf.
7 Before investing in fractional shares, please consider these limitations. During market hours, fractional share orders are transmitted immediately, but system delays may occur between order receipt and execution, potentially impacting the execution price due to adverse market conditions. Orders placed outside of market hours are received on a "not held" basis; these orders are aggregated and executed in a single batch at the next business day's market open, and shares will be delivered at an average price from that execution. Finally, fractional shares are not transferable to another firm. If a transfer or closure request is initiated, any fractional shares will be sold, and you must consider that selling securities is a taxable event.
