What personal information is needed to open a SoFi Checking and Savings account?
To open an account, SoFi will need the following:
● Name
● Home address
● Date of birth
● Citizenship status (US citizen, permanent resident, non-permanent resident)
● Social security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
● Phone number
● Email address
In some cases we may need additional documentation, such as a copy of your driver’s license and/or a current photo ID to verify your identity.
