How can I access my money?

You can access your money by using your SoFi Debit Card for purchases, withdrawing cash from ATMs, sending money electronically to friends and family via the peer-to-peer (P2P) function, paying bills using bill pay service, writing checks from your SoFi Checking and Saving checkbook, or transferring money via ACH online or with our mobile app.

Can I send money to friends and family in the app?

You can send money to anyone with a US-based bank account, SoFi member or not, using our no-cost peer-to-peer (P2P) feature. If the person you’re sending money to also has SoFi Checking and Savings, the transfer will be instant!

When will my P2P money transfer arrive to the recipient’s bank account?

P2P payments between SoFi Checking and Savings members is instantaneous. If you’re sending money to a non-SoFi Checking and Savings member, the recipient will see the money in their account 2-3 business days after they claim the P2P payment by submitting their bank account information.
