Do you provide paper checks?

Yes, we offer checks at no cost! To order checks, log in (either in the app or on the web), and go to the “More” section. You’ll receive your checks about 10-14 days after ordering. You can order an additional 25 checks after one week. Note that checks are not automatically sent.

Please note that SoFi’s routing number changed in 2020. Make sure that you are using checks with routing number 031101334 (routing number is found on the bottom left of the check).

Why do you need my Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)?

How can I transfer funds to SoFi Checking and Savings?

You can transfer funds at any time by accessing SoFi Checking and Savings under “Transfer”. You can search for your bank and connect your account by entering your username and password or manually entering the routing and account numbers.

How can I access my money?

You can access your money by using your SoFi Debit Card for purchases, withdrawing cash from ATMs, sending money electronically to friends and family via the peer-to-peer (P2P) function, paying bills using bill pay service, writing checks from your SoFi Checking and Saving checkbook, or transferring money via ACH online or with our mobile app.
