US stocks were mixed on Friday but finished higher for the week

•   The Dow Jones Industrial Average logged its best week of the year after markets rallied on the Federal Reserve’s policy update and outlook, which included three expected interest rate cuts this year.

•   Cannabis stocks rose across the board Friday after Germany legalized possession for personal use.

What to be on the lookout for today

•   February new home sales and building permits.

•   We’ll also get a manufacturing update for March from the Dallas Fed and an update of overall economic activity for February from the Chicago Fed.
