CoPilot: A Fitness Coach in Your Pocket

Meet CoPilot

Digital training app CoPilot raised $6.5 million in Series A Funding to help connect users with fitness coaches from the convenience of their phone.

The platform’s goal is to encourage more people to work out by giving them access to high-quality, personalized fitness advice. The funding round was led by Jackson Square Ventures. CoPilot has raised a total of $16.5 million.

Making Fitness Accessible

CoPilot co-founder and fitness enthusiast Matt Spettel knows that access to a personal trainer can be immensely valuable. But it’s also very expensive and usually requires a gym membership. His company hopes to change this.

CoPilot is targeting people who already know the basics of working out but struggle when it comes to hitting their fitness goals with the help of a real person on the other end of the app.

With the fresh cash, CoPilot plans to expand its team, invest in better technology, and eventually expand into general health and wellness areas, such as nutrition, physical therapy, and mental health.

Next time you’re feeling the need for movement, CoPilot could be the more economical and convenient choice to reach your fitness goals.

One-On-One Coaching

For $99 per month, CoPilot connects its members with a fitness coach to help them develop a personalized workout plan.

This process includes a 45-minute introductory call for the coach to get to know the user and their goals, then build a bespoke plan around them. Once the plan has been designed, the user completes the workouts and receives routine check-ins from their coach.

Founded in 2019, CoPilot already has more than 55 professional coaches on its platform and has helped its members complete more than 1.5 million workouts.
