Will applying to the SoFi Credit Card impact my credit score?

When you apply, SoFi conducts a soft credit pull that will not affect your credit score. An approved application will result in a hard credit pull, which may impact your credit score.

How can I redeem the 2% cash back rewards I earn on my credit card?

You can redeem rewards points for cash deposited into your SoFi Checking or Savings account, SoFi Money® account, fractional shares in your SoFi Active Invest account, as a statement credit to your SoFi Credit Card account, or as a payment to your SoFi Personal, Private Student, or Student Loan Refinance at a rate of 1 cent per every point.

I tried to make a payment at my favorite store but the tap feature didn’t work, why?

You can swipe, dip (where you insert it), or tap, your card to make a payment but tap won’t be enabled until you dip the card for the first time. This is an enhanced security feature.

I have a credit freeze in place. Can I still apply?

In order to apply for the credit card you must temporarily lift the credit freeze. Please contact Experian (Credit Bureau) to remove the freeze.

Can I make a one-time payment?

You can set up auto-pay right away, but if you want to make a one-time payment, you can do so anytime in the app.

Where can I access my Terms & Cardholder Agreement?

You will be able to review and accept Terms & Cardholder Agreement during application flow, and we will also email these to you.
