About ProShares UltraShort Industrials (SIJ)
The Index measures the performance of companies in developed markets that are owners and operators of pure-play infrastructure assets. As of July 31, 2024, this included companies from the following countries as United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Australia, Italy, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico, Brazil, New Zealand, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Germany. Pure-play infrastructure sectors include, for example, airports, toll roads, ports, communications, electricity transmission and distribution, oil and gas storage and transportation, and water. The Index selects companies in developed markets that earn more than 70 percent of their estimated cash flows from pure-play infrastructure assets. Selected companies are weighted based on market capitalization, with limits on how much weight can be in a single stock (10 percent), country (50 percent) or pure-play infrastructure sector (50 percent). The Index is constructed and maintained by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC.
