About iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF (IWF)
The Fund seeks to track the investment results of the Russell 1000 Growth Index (the Underlying Index), which measures the performance of large- and mid-capitalization growth sectors of the U.S. equity market, as defined by FTSE Russell (the Index Provider or Russell). The Underlying Index is a subset of the Russell 1000 Index, which measures the performance of the large- and mid-capitalization sector of the U.S. equity market, as defined by Russell. As of March 31, 2024, the Underlying Index represented approximately 55 percent of the total market value of the Russell 1000 Index. The Underlying Index measures the performance of equity securities of Russell 1000 Index issuers with higher price-to-book ratios, higher forecasted medium-term growth and higher sales-per-share historical growth relative to all issuers whose securities are included in the Russell 1000 Index. As of March 31, 2024, a significant portion of the Underlying Index is represented by securities of companies in the consumer discretionary and technology industries or sectors. The components of the Underlying Index are likely to change over time.
