About iShares Microcap ETF (IWC)

The Fund seeks to track the investment results of the Russell Microcap Index (the Underlying Index), which measures the performance of the microcap sector of the U.S. equity market, as defined by FTSE Russell (the Index Provider or Russell). The Underlying Index is a float-adjusted capitalization-weighted index and includes equity securities issued by issuers with total market capitalizations ranging from approximately dollar 4 million to dollar 4.6 billion, although this range may change from time to time. The Underlying Index consists of approximately the 1,000 smallest issuers in the Russell 3000 Index plus the next 1,000 smallest issuers in the equity universe as determined by Russell. As of March 31, 2024, a significant portion of the Underlying Index is represented by securities of companies in the financial, healthcare and industrials industries or sectors. The components of the Underlying Index are likely to change over time.
