D&L Industries, Inc. is a holding company, which engages in customization, development and manufacturing of food ingredients, colorants, additives and engineered polymers for plastics, aerosol products, as well as manufacturing of oleochemicals, resins, and powder coating. It operates through the following segments: Food Ingredients; Colorants and Plastic Additives; Oleochemicals, Resins and Powder Coatings; Consumer Products Original Design Manufacturing (ODM); and Management and Administration. The Food Ingredients segment manufactures a line of industrial fats and oils, food ingredients, specialty fats, oils and culinary, and other specialty food ingredients. The Colorants and Plastic Additives segment engages in manufacturing of a line of pigment blends, color and additive master batches and engineered polymers for applications. The Oleochemicals, Resins, and Powder Coatings segment focuses on manufacturing of Coconut Methyl Ester, other oleochemicals and chemicals derived from vegetable oils, resins such as polystyrene, acrylic emulsions and polyester and a line of powder coatings. The Consumer Products ODM segment consists of insect control, industrial maintenance chemicals, home and personal care products, aerosol cans and components along with provision of contract aerosol filling and compounding services. The Management and Administration segment is involved in the operation services of the subsidiaries. The company was founded by Dean L. Lao Sr., and Lao L. Leon in 1963 and is headquartered in Quezon City, Philippines.
