ENTRY INTO THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES (“RULES”) AND THE DECISIONS OF SOFI, WHICH SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL RESPECTS. SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW AND IS SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS, REGULATIONS, AND ORDINANCES.

  ELIGIBILITY:  To be eligible to enter the SoFi Financial Game Plan Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), you must be a legal resident of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia) age 19 years of age or older in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 years of age or older in Mississippi; or 18 years of age or older in all other states including the District of Columbia at time of entry (collectively referred to as an “Entrant”). Employees of Social Finance, Inc. (the “Sponsor” or “SoFi”), and its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliated or successor companies; subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, sales representatives, web masters/suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, anyone associated with the development, implementation or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively referred to hereafter as the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and members of the immediate families (defined as: spouse, biological, adoptive and step-parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.   SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 7, 2022 and ends at 11:59:59 pm ET on November 29, 2022 (“Sweepstakes Entry Period”). The Sweepstakes will consist of twelve (12) weekly entry periods plus one (1) grand prize drawing. Refer to chart within the “how to qualify for entry” section (below) for each weekly period’s deadline date.

  HOW TO QUALIFY FOR ENTRY IN THE GRAND PRIZE AND WEEKLY RANDOM DRAWINGS: There are three (3) ways to earn entries:

• Method 1: An Entrant who is not an existing SoFi member can download the SoFi app and follow all onscreen instructions to register for SoFi membership (each a “new SoFi member”) to receive one (1) entry into the grand prize drawing and for the weekly random drawing he or she qualifies for based on date/time the entry is received. 
• Method 2: Existing and new SoFi members who open (not funds) a SoFi Checking & Savings account during the Entry Period will receive one (1) additional entry into the weekly random drawing he or she qualifies for based on date/time the entry received. 
• Method 3: Existing and new SoFi members will receive one (1) entry into the grand prize drawing and one (1) entry into the weekly random drawing he or she qualifies for when Entrant successfully refers a friend (“Referee”) to open a SoFi Checking & Savings account. Entrant must use the unique referral link assigned by SoFi and will receive one (1) additional entry      for every successful referral during the Entry Period.

ALL NON-WINNING WEEKLY ENTRIES WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ENTERED IN SUBSEQUENT WEEKLY ENTRY PERIOD DRAWINGS (IF ANY) AND THE GRAND PRIZE DRAWING.  Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more entries by using multiple/different accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant will be disqualified. Use of scripts, macros, or any other automated system to participate or subvert the process is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of an identity dispute, entry will be considered made by the registered owner of the email account used for entry. Entrants must have a valid email address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. All entries submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.  GRAND PRIZE & WEEKLY WINNER SELECTION & ODDS: Each weekly winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received for a given weekly drawing within three (3) days after the end of each Weekly Entry Period. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period on or about December 1, 2022. All random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning a weekly prize are determined by the number of eligible entries received for a given Weekly Entry Period. Odds of winning the grand prize are determined by the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. GRAND PRIZE & WEEKLY WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION:  All potential winners will be notified by email within  three (3) business days from random drawing date and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release plus an IRS W9 Form which must be completed, signed, and returned to Administrator within three (3) days from date on notification. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] a potential winner’s failure to respond to email notification within three (3) days after emailing/transmission; [2] the return of an email notification or message as undeliverable; [3] the receipt of any other notice from Sponsor or an undeliverable prize; [4] a potential winner’s failure to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; [5] a potential winner’s failure to execute and return within three (3) days after its deployment or mailing notification an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release and/or any required documents; [6] a potential winner’s failure to claim prize within three (3) days after he or she is confirmed as a winner; and [7] any other non-compliance with Rules. In the event of prize forfeiture, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner. Sponsor shall have no liability if notification is lost, intercepted, or not received for any reason. Sponsor is not responsible for any change in winner’s email account or other contact information after entering the Sweepstakes. EACH POTENTIAL WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR AND ITS ADMINISTRATOR. AN ENTRANT IS NOT THE WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL HE/SHE HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND NOTIFIED THAT THE VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. PRIZE DETAILS: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE:  Grand Prize winner receive $50,000 plus a 2 days/2 nights trip to Los Angeles, CA (“Game city”) for winner and up-to-four friends to attend the January 1, 2023, Chargers vs Rams game at SoFi Stadium (“Game”). Approximate value of trip: $30,000. $50,000 cash prize will be awarded directly to winner’s SoFi’s Checking & Savings account within 30-60 days from the day the Administrator verifies winner. If Grand Prize winner does not have a SoFi Checking & Savings account, he or she can open an account for free on the SoFi app or at SoFi.com.  TWELVE (12) WEEKLY PRIZES: Weekly Prize winners (one prize awarded per weekly entry period) will each receive $2,500 in SoFi Reward Points plus a signed Justin Herbert swag valued at $75.00 each. SoFi Reward Points prizes will be awarded within 30-60 days from the day the Administrator verifies a winner.  If the actual value of trip and/or any swag prize is lower than the stated ARV when prize is procured and fulfilled, then the difference will not be awarded. Prizes are not transferrable to a third party and prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute any prize (or any portion of prize) for a prize of comparable or greater value. All taxes, fees, federal, state, local or other expenses relating to the use, acceptance and possession of prize are the sole responsibility of each winner. An IRS form 1099 will be filed in the name of each winner for the retail value of the prize won. Arrangements for the fulfillment of prizes will be made by Sponsor and/or its designated agent.  Grand Prize trip consists of: round-trip economy class airfare (for winner and up-to-four guests) from/to a major commercial airport nearest to winner’s primary residence to/from  (or ground transportation, if winner resides within a one hundred and fifty (150) mile radius of Game city as determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion); double occupancy accommodations for winner and guests  for two (2) nights (up-to-three rooms at Sponsor’s discretion (total) and room tax only);  up-to-five (5) tickets to attend Game, in stadium private suite access, and game day experience. All meals, ground transportation (other than as noted), taxes, gratuities, incidentals, upgrades, service charges or other expenses not specified herein are not included and are the sole responsibility of the winner and/or each guest. All Grand Prize details, including selection of stadium seats, are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Game tickets are not for resale. Sponsor is not responsible for any flight or transportation delay/cancellation, and not liable for any expenses incurred because of any delay/cancellation.  Grand Prize winner and guests must travel together on the same itinerary, and dates specified by the Sponsor (tentatively scheduled for December 31, 2022 through January 2, 2023) or forfeit all rights to the trip. Travel, hotel, and other accommodations are subject to availability. Certain restrictions may apply. Grand Prize winner acknowledges that Game is beyond the control of the Sponsor and is subject to being rescheduled, modified, or cancelled. In the eventuality the Game is postponed or canceled, no compensation or substitution will be provided, and the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the winner (and guests) other than to supply a trip to Game city minus the Game portion of prize. Should this be the case, trip must be taken within ten (10) months from the date of winner’s verification. If for any reason whatsoever, the winner and/or any guest(s) are unable to travel or attend the Game for any reason whatsoever after all travel arrangements have been made and paid, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to winner and/or guest(s). Grand Prize winner and guests are responsible for obtaining proper documentation (i.e., valid photo ID, proof of vaccination, etc.), prior to travel. If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, a parent or legal guardian will need to accompany minor on trip as winner’s guest. If guest is a minor, the winner must be the guest’s parent or legal guardian. Guests will be required to execute and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to travel. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission for Sponsor and its agents to use each winner’s name, prize won, hometown, likeness, video tape, photographs, and statements for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission. Furthermore, Sponsor and/or its agents may film, record and/or take photographs of the Grand Prize winner (and/or his or her guests) before/during/after the Game, and may use the resulting footage, recordings, or photographs for a range of purposes, including, without limitation, for marketing and promoting Sponsor and/or its promotion partners/agents and their respective products and services. No additional compensation will be provided for any resulting footage.  The Sponsor will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of, or the restriction on fans attending Game. Grand Prize winner and his guests agree to comply with all applicable SoFi Stadium and venue regulations in connection with the Grand Prize. The NFL reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guests who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the Game, including the Sponsor’s brand ambassadors present at the private suite. Game tickets awarded herein must not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture and may invalidate the license granted by the NFL. Admission to SoFi Stadium is subject to all rules, requirements, and policies, including, without limitation, all security, and safety and health requirements and policies, put in place by SoFi Stadium, including requirements relating to face masks and enhanced health screenings (which may include a requirement that ticket holders be tested for COVID-19 prior to or during the Game or provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to attending the Game) as they may be updated from time to time.  The winner and winner’s guest(s) must also comply with all applicable laws, policies, orders, protocols, and guidelines issued by federal, state, and local authorities respecting COVID-19 and other communicable diseases, and attendance at the Game is conditioned on such compliance. Receiving the prize is contingent upon compliance with these Rules and passing any required background check to the Sponsor’s satisfaction in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. CONSENT AND RELEASE: To the fullest extent possible in law, Entrants and any coordinating entity, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Releasing Parties”), release, defend and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities and their associated companies and directors, including but not limited to the NFL Entities and their respective  parent, subsidiary, affiliated or successor companies and their respective owners, members, shareholders, officers, directors, partners, equity holders, agents, representatives, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Releasees”) from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, suits, liabilities, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, extent, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law, admiralty or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Releasees which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter can, shall or may have which in any way arise out of or result from Entrant’s participation, acceptance and use or misuse of a prize or resulting from any travel related activity (if determined a winner). By entering this Sweepstakes, you as an Entrant, agree, represent and warrant that: [1] you will be bound by the Rules and SoFi’s and its Administrator’s decisions, which shall be final in all respects; [2] in the event viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, except where prohibited by law, Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Rules or to cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes; and in such event,  to select applicable winner(s) by such method as Sponsor in its sole discretion shall consider equitable; [3] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules, selection and announcement of  winners; [4] the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of winner to accept or use prize (or any portion thereof) for any reason; [5) the Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it suspects of any of the following: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; (b) violating the Rules and/or the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy; (c) violating any other terms, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any Sweepstakes property or; and (6) any attempt by any individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of these Rules as well as criminal and civil laws; and should Sponsor believe or become aware that such an attempt has been, is being, or will be made, it has the right to seek remedies and damages from any responsible individuals to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without limitation criminal prosecution. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant expressively waives and relinquishes all rights and benefits afforded by California Civil Code 1542 and does so understanding and acknowledging the significance of this waiver. Section 1542 states as follows: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DID NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN, BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR THE RELEASED PARTIES.” ARBITRATION: This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. Each Entrant hereby agrees that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (“Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes or prizes shall be resolved, upon the election by Entrant or Sponsor, by arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of either the National Arbitration Forum (“NAF”) or the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as selected by Entrant. IF ARBITRATION IS CHOSEN BY ANY PARTY WITH RESPECT TO A CLAIM, NEITHER PARTY WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE THAT CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON THAT CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ANY ENTRANT WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH BELOW, THE ARBITRATOR’S DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING. NOTE THAT OTHER RIGHTS THAT AN ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES. EACH ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY’S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sponsor and any Entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sponsor and Entrant alone. Furthermore, claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration. Notwithstanding any other provision in these Rules and without waiving either party’s right to appeal such decision, should any portion of this provision be deemed invalid or unenforceable, then the entire provision (other than this sentence) shall not apply.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials or made by any representative of Sponsor, and the terms and conditions of these Rules, these Rules shall prevail, govern, and control. PRIVACY: By entering the Sweepstakes, the information Entrants provide may be sent to promotional partners. Entrants may be contacted by the Sponsor and any promotional partners with future promotional offers. SEVERABILITY:  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Sponsor or Administrator, and not to any social media entity. The National Football League, its member professional football clubs, including but not limited to The Los Angeles Chargers, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Properties LLC, NFL Enterprises LLC, NFL Productions LLC, and NFL International LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “NFL Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded.   The NFL Entities and the Los Angeles Chargers have not offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way. All NFL-related trademarks are the property of the National Football League.  All other trademarks used herein are the property of their respective owners.
