Stocks rose Tuesday amid remarks from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, where he reiterated his bullish view of the economy & the temporary nature of inflation.
US stocks rose Thursday thanks to several positive factors. First, President Joe Biden announced that the White House has reached an agreement on an infrastructure deal with a bipartisan group of senators. Secondly, the 10-year US Treasury yield continued to trade below 1.50%.
Consumption and consumer price data came in a bit below estimates on Friday, but the SPX still set new records at midday.
